Wissegiggl in Villmar

Delicious food after a very nice hike through the Hintertaunus. The corona hygiene rules were implemented in an exemplary manner. The log cabin-style ambience is hearty but modern. The staff was consistently friendly and the food was extremely tasty! We were definitely not here for the last time. The Wissegiggl restaurant is a wonderful start and end point for weekend hikers, as there are very beautiful circular hiking trails of various lengths, so that there is something for everyone.

Cozy restaurant with alpine flair. The service is very friendly. The food tastes good. Unfortunately, the strips of roast beef in the pasta were a bit dry and tough. Therefore 1 point deduction. I would go back anyway. Clear recommendation.

The ambience is really great. The dishes were prepared in a reasonable time and served quickly. The service is friendly, attentive and competent. We chose the game goulash and the rump steak. We can highly recommend both dishes. We had a very nice evening and are already looking forward to the next time.

The food is good, the waiting time is just a bit long. Even if the house was full and the kitchen was certainly working to the limit, there is a point deduction. Update: fresh preparation is a good argument, thank you for your feedback. :)

Robust dishes of good quality and the appealing ambience of a large wooden house. There is a small surcharge for this despite the rural location. Overall, however, it fits together.

Very quaint, log cabin style restaurant. Very good for families. Mini golf course, small football field, playground with table football, climbing rope and play equipment. Nice beer garden.

Also highly recommended during corona times, as there is a large garden area. Play opportunities for children. Very nimble, friendly operator The food was good and plentiful and the drinks were all as desired. Extra requests were also fulfilled and the content confirmed on request. There is also plenty of parking space in front of the restaurant. Note opening times. Closed in whole or in part for several celebrations.

Great location, great food, in taste and size of the portions, I left very satisfied. The offer for children is very extensive and that creates an overall harmony that can only be recommended, top.

We spent a wonderful evening here. Very good food, extremely nice service in a nice location. This was also not disturbed by a failed soup that was withdrawn without hesitation and rewarded with a free drink. We are completely satisfied and will be back.

Atmosphere, location, food, parking is great. They are offering Minigolf, a kicker table and darts. Some of the drinks were not available. We reserved with a hugh group and they knew what we want to drink but it wasn't available. Anyway it was a great evening/night. Thanks for the good service and the greaaaat food.

Once again a wonderfully delicious steak. Mega tender. An ideal destination for the first motorcycle tour of the season. Usually you should reserve in advance. But we were only two and were lucky. Service friendly and we didn't have to wait long for drinks and food. We will definitely come back 😉

Tolle Location

The restaurant is offering quite good German dishes at high quality. The atmosphere inside is very nice and reminds of a lodge.
